Mar 18, 2010 - @PeterMock Some oil's have a higher smoke point? Olive oil has a low one, depends how fussed you are on it really? Sunflower oil has a high smoke point so use that if your concerned about it for frying? Hope that helps x

Aug 11, 2010 - @HawaiianTexan Just put it on hot! Not sure what exact temperature but when you heat the pan and you start to see a little smoke coming off that's how hot you want it! Really hot.
