The International Flight Services Association (IFSA) Asia Pacific Chef's Competition was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia April 28-30, 2009 in conjunction with the IFSA/ITCA Asia Pacific Conference.In advance of the onsite IFSA Chefs Competition, five competing finalists were provided ingredients from which to develop a menu representative of regional airline business class cuisine. The chefs demonstrated their talents in Malaysian cooking for a panel of five judges. Chef Kenichi Nishio of TFK Corporation in Narita took top honors at this years competition, following in his brothers footsteps who took top honors in 2008.
